My name is REYNA ISABEL, I am 8 years old. I like to be called Isabel. I am in 1st grade.

Before coming to live in Exodo, I used to live with my father and mother. Mi mother is mute and deaf. My father used to play with me, but I didn’t like his games, they’d make me feel uncomfortable and sad. One day they took me from my family and I went to live at another home, and recently I came to live in Exodo Home.  Sometimes I feel bad because I don’t see my mother anymore, I’d like her to visit me here or spend a vacation with her.

Living in Exodo Home I feel happy, they treat me very good, and I don’t wish to get back to the other home. I like going to church and going out to the beach and the pool with my friends. I love to play with the other girls, and share my toys. I want to have lots of dolls.

When I grow up I want to be a writer and I want to see my name on the cover of books.

Fun Fact:

When Isabel just came from a nun’s home, she was used to get up very early, at 4:30 in the morning, so she would begin playing and making noise and waking up the other girls who were mad at her. It took her time to learn that she didn’t need to get up so early.
