My name is José Alexander Clímaco Alvarado and I am 6 years old.  My mother is an alcoholic, and when she drank, she used to take my little sister and me with her. When she passed out in the street my little sister and I would wait for hours and hours until she’d wake up, and that is how the authorities found us. My mother tried to sell my baby sister 3 times before we were taken from her. 

 

I like to live in ÉXODO because I have other kids to play with, I have my own bed and I don’t have to sleep on the floor anymore. They gave me a nice toy truck that I love, and I am going to school now.
