Geraldine was admitted at age five with her brother. She lost her mother to tuberculosis. Her father had few resources and suffered from the same disease. Geraldine became very sick and it was feared that she and her siblings might have acquire the TB also. Their father was not able to take care of them because of his sickness and inability to work. Geraldine adapted slowly to living at Posada de Amor at first, but has adapted to the home very well. Geraldine is a very observant little girl. She is a bit shy but very friendly after getting to know her. Geraldine is creative and wants to be a Veterinarian when she grows up.
