Maybe this child’s name is Leoncio and he is living, without parents, in the mountains of Peru. Leoncio must struggle for basic needs like education, medicine and the security of tomorrow – all things that most American children never have to think about.  However, he has an advantage over the 6.5 million children in Peru who live in poverty; Leoncio has the protection and care of a place of hope called Centro de Esperanza.

Centro de Esperanza is one of many places of hope in the international community that are funded and supported by Places of Hope International. Places of Hope International is an organization committed to providing support and assistance to children all over the world. Our collaborative work with our international partners is changing lives. We are seeing transformed lives that are transforming the lives of others. We are changing communities, reaching nations and impacting the world.

The work of Places of Hope International focuses on abandoned and abused children.
