facing catastrophic situations.
We allocate these funds for emergency expenses (natural
disaster, outbreak of illnesses) as well as areas of imminent
need due to regional crisis (terrorism, war).

urgent needs and bring healing and hope to those who are

 During
the recent Hurricanes in Florida, POHI was there to help.
Our crisis teams were immediately dispatched to the affected
areas-- distributing relief supplies, cooking warm meals,
and providing emergency counsel to exhausted aid workers
and weary residents. We were able to secure water and
supplies for distribution to the under-served residents
in the inner cities and people who were without electricity
for weeks.
